Deskscapes and Windowblinds cause problems

Deskscapes 3 runs fine by itself.  Windowblinds 7  runs fine by itself (same with WB6).  But if the two are running atr the same time any maximized window (notepad, outlook, windows explorer...any window) will not close the first time.  Its closed in that its not really there anymore but its image stays on the screen until I click the start menu and then click anywhere on the screen to close the start menu.  At that point the frozen window disappears.  Eventually this will work into a worse situation where the computer locks up with a black screen.  I've tried different dreams and skins,  always the same.  Are these two programs supposed to work together ok?

Ok I have to update my last post.  After letting Deskscapes 3 run by itself for awhile I'm  having the same problems.  So it appears those symptoms I listed are occuring with just Deskscapes.  Still,  any help would be appreciated.
