Is there another way to update Sins

Ok, I have tried and tried to update SINS through Impulse. Nothing seems to work, I have reinstalled and I have ran without any protection on my system(which I didnt like)

I would like to see if there is a old fashioned link to download the updates.

I'm not an expert on the subect, but I would say that there is not.

Everytime I try to download I get to 1.50MB of 6.77MB and there it justs stops

email [email protected] to try and work it out. but impulse is the only way to update it.

Yeah, It sucks but it make's it so pirates are stuck with the unpatched version of the game if they pirate it. A near-perfect way to deal with pirates IMHO.

The other alternative is downloading the fully patched client through http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com

It doesn't have standalone patch downloads, but it's a web download of the full game which is always up-to-date. It has its own installer too so there's no doing anything in Impulse required.

But to figure out what's going on with your patching, I'd definitely follow the suggestion in reply #3 and contact support.

i have another problem which is simple, yet really annoy, and i already opened a ticket at [email protected]. my serial number wont work, its from a original hard copy of Sins of a Solar Empire and i already purchase entrenchment, now i need to update my Sins version so its compatible, but i cant since my game isnt registered, any way of help here?

i had the same problem, they ended up giving me a serial key for vanilla sins. just mention it in your support ticket!
