Update error

Greetings,

   Getting an error when trying to update Impulse.  Installed Sins and did it's update to 1.181 fine. Trying to download my order of Entrenchment (product is registered).  When I try to download Entrenchment, I get a pop-up saying Impulse needs to be updated first.  When I restart Impulse, and update occurs for a few percent, then I get a msg that an update error has occured.  Impulse opens at that point, but then cant DL Entrenchment until Impulse updates.  Have right-clicked Impulse icon in task bar and checked for updates, and I get a msg of no new updates available.  As soon as I restart Impulse, I get an update starting, failing quickly, and the same update error has occured.

   Any suggestions on how to get around this, or change a setting to correct this?  Did the network check, and it said everything was fine. Thanks a lot.

I had the same problem today. I uninstalled, downloaded the installer off the stardock site, and reinstalled from there. Works fine now thus far.

Go into Control Panel>>Programs>>Uninstall a Program.  Highlight Impulse and choose "Change"  Select "Repair Application" and let it do its thing.  You should be able to update and get your expansion just fine now.
