Fences interfering with Sims 2?

I recently tried out Fences, and now it seems to be interfering with Sims 2.  The middle click (scroll wheel) button on my mouse normally rotates/raises the camera, but ever since installing Fences, all it does is double-click.  I know it's not my mouse software (Microsoft Intellipoint) because I already had it set up to work fine with the game.  I can still adjust the camera with the keyboard shortcut, but I'm just too used to using the mouse for it.

Anyone else run into something like this?  Is there a way to adjust Fences or configure it to mesh better with Sims 2, and possibly other games?
