Capital Ships-Is there a way to exceed the max amount?

I was hoping to find out if there's a way to get more capital ships built. 

If you know of a way, please advise...

okay first download this tool

https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/322559

then make a copy of you GameInfo file

use the tool on the Gameinfo file

in the Gameinfo file there should be the noted files there (with Race and # being set to whatever race and level starting at 0 - 7)

should have them set to text and from there it is pretty easy to understand what needs to be changed

put the changed gameinfo file into a file in the mod directory (use the location that is reported in the mod option area of the game)

if any questions to the steps feel free to ask again

also a quick way to change the number of ships in a game is to change the logistic or tactical cost in each ship file. In that way the ships still cost credits to get, just not limited to a certain number.

I managed to get the file now.

Here is what I can copy...

So, what do I do next?

I would like to change the limit on my capital ships from 16 to say something like 30?

Do I change that last number to 30 or what?  Then paste that line on to the other file in the game?

If you go to:

entityName "RESEARCHSUBJECT_MAXSHIPSLOTSTECH6.entity"

and edit as below will give you double the cap ships.
