Can't Select Terrain Alliance; Terrain Alliance is replaced by custom race. -please help

For some reason when I'm at the race selection screen, The Terrain Alliance is replaced by a custom race; so I'm unable to select them. I tried re-installing, but this problem is still the same.

Could anyone please help me with this? Thanks in advance

Try the "clear" button when you're given the customization options at galaxy creation. Failing that, you can delete any custom race files in My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2 (or GC2DarkAvatar or GC2TwilightArnor).
