Products only for 1 system?

I have Windows Blinds and DreamScene on my main system, now is my question are they only for 1 system or is it possible to use them on my laptop too? It would be so great if its allowed to use them on 2 systems :D

I have tried to find any information about this but couldnt find any.

Thanks in advance!

I think SD wouldn't object to this reproduction of the EULA:

YOU MAY:
1. Install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE on a single computer.
2. Install a second copy of the SOFTWARE on a second computer only if you are the main user of this computer (home computer or laptop for example).
3. Install the SOFTWARE on another computer only if you change of main workstation. In such a case you must uninstall the software from the old computer.
4. Use the SOFTWARE via a network, only if you have purchased an adequate number of licenses. The number of users must not exceed the number of licenses
you have purchased.
5. Make a copy of the SOFTWARE for
archival purposes only.

From the Stardock FAQ section -

Q:  I have a laptop and a desktop. Can I install the software on multiple machines?

A:  Yes, to a point. Only 1 copy of the product can be used at once per license. But if you want to have it on both home and work or install it on the road that is not only allowed but recommended. As long as only one copy is actively in use (someone sitting at the computer) at any one time, you are covered.

I use 1 system at the same time :P It happens rarely that and my main and my laptop are on at the same time.

So if I know that the 2 will be on at the same time I will stop running them on my laptop then! I think this should avoid any problems or confusions.....

And thanks for the FAQ I didnt look hard enough

A lot of people misinterpret this line in the EULA.  If you have DeskScapes running on your desktop and laptop at the same time, we're not going to sick the dogs on you.  Heck, if you had it on 3 machines at the same time we wouldn't sweat it (although you may hit activation limits faster).  This provision exists so that you don't share your serials with all your friends so they can have the software too.  The license is to you as an individual, not to a group of you and your friends.  We're not trying to nickel and dime you, just making sure we can stay in business.

@Shirley,

I can so understand that, thats why I asked in the first place. If the answer would have been no I really would not have it installed on my laptop!

I would like to ask another question. I have submitted a ticket but so far no answer yet :)

I went from Vista Home 32b edition to Ultimate 64b edition and did not archive my deskscape 3.

The emails I recieved when buying it are also gone but I do have a screenie of the picture with my purchase number etc.

I dont have my key to put in tho :( Is there a way I do get my key? As I said I did file a ticket with that screenie attached so they can verify the purchase.

Also what is very strange is that I did purchase with different email addresses but I have set that all to 1 email address/account so that should be ok but its not.

That main is nor recognizing my account and I have to use my old email address.....

So when trying to get my registrations its not complete with my 2 purchases (Windows Blind6 and Deskscape3)

The email I have set to be main is not valid and I have to login with my old email address which I signed up with!

I did tried the key for when haveing problems with registrations but that didnt helped at all.

So please any help and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Dawny

EDIT:

Strangely enough I could only file the ticket at the support center on my main email address which is not being recognized by this forum or Impulse....

The ticket number is: BJZ-623050

Looks like you'll have to have your email/acounts merged by the guys at Stardock so all your purchases are accessible from the one [new] email account/login.

If you have submitted a ticket give it a little time and it will be sorted for you...;)
