ObjectDock PLUS on Dual Monitors Win7

docs overlap when external monitor disconnected

Hello, dear All

I am having some trouble with my ObjectDock Plus setup on. If anyone know a solution, please be so kind as to let me know. THANKS in advance.

Setup:

I have ObjectDock Plus (1.90) installed with 2 docks on a dual monitor (main monitor and external monitor) Windows 7 system.

Each monitor has one dock in the bottom of the screen.

Problem:

When I disconnect external monitor from my laptop, the dock from external monitors jumps to the main monitor, so 2 docks cover each other.  This is very annoying. Is there any solution to show a dock ONLY and ONLY on external monitor on only when external monitor is connected?

Objectdock programming keeps it from being "lost" off screen.

A possible solution would be to save your current setup (both monitors plugged in) as a theme...call it dual docks (or anything you wish)

and then delete the dock that's on the secondary monitor and save that theme...call it single dock (or anything you wish)

That way you can just load the theme based on the current setup. I would recommend making any changes to the dual dock theme so you can then resave it and the single dock theme.

Thank you, Lantec

You advise seems to be the best workaround available.

It is not exactly what I want to achieve, I have external display in other room with bluetooth kyeboard and mouse. So i want to be able to fully control the pc from external display. But it seems i need to go to the main laptop and change the theme back and forth.

Think I will have to stick with Actual Dual monitors meanwhile...
