Can't install Impulse

from WinCustomize Forums

I just upgraded my PC to Win7, doing a clean install.  I cannot install Impulse...I keep getting the message that Impulse cannot find a required file (does not tell me what the file is).  I tried installing Impulse from my Registrations page on my WC site, and also directly from the Impulse site.  I get the same message both places.  I also tried the download to my computer (save, then run) and the Run directly from both my WC page and the Impulse site.

Help!!!!

YEA!!!!!

I finally got it fixed...I had to do a wipe and re-install of Windows 7...I had some borked registry settings from some software my son installed!  Anyway, right after  I got Windows installed, and before I installed my Security software...I hopped on over here and got Impulse installed from the link on my personal site!  Then, I was able to install WB 7.  I'm a happy camper now....using my Christmas blind.  Now, I just have to wait for SKS 7 to come out to make blinds for Win 7.

LOL!  Kids have a hard time believing that a parent might know as much, or more, about computers....at least, my kid does.  At least he doesn't crash my computer anymore like he used to...:rofl:

Hey Doc....I was going through severe withdrawal from not being able to use skins for Win 7....even though the Win 7 Gui is not bad...I just like things different...lol!  |-)
