how do you manage 2v2 and 3v3 fights?

how do you manage 2v2 and 3v3 fights?

I seem to be having a lot of trouble staying alive in 2v2 / 3v3 fights.

Note I said FIGHT and NOT GAME.

You obviously take a lot more damage in a 2v2 or 3v3 than you do in a 1v1.

What are the things you should watch out for, wich combo's really hurt and how hard do they hurt?

Is there anything special you should do? How do you know when to go back or when to push?

The reason I post his is because I just played a 2v2 game.

I was Oak, my teammate was Beast.

Other team had a Beast and an Ereb.

Whenever we got into a fight they took my health down from 6000 to 2000-3000 in 1-2 seconds, I have no idea how they did that, we were all around lvl 7.

Yes Bite hurts, yes Spit hurts, no it doen't do 1500 dps, not even combined! Even with AA they should be around 500-800 dps, not 1500-2000 dps!

"the enemy could use sigils / pots / run early / run back / ..." So can you...

I love ub chasing me with sigil into 2 towers on gold flag (cataract) i let him chase till he droppes me to about 500 hp then i pop my sigil. I towers wont kill  him he wont get away before his sigil expieres.

Also as oak its very iportant to manage you mana that u always have some for shield. At shield 3 u can cast shield and teleport out without chance to be stunned (unless they stunn your shield cast, but then u can still try to teleport).

Common sense comes with expierience: if you lost half of your hp and ur enemy only 1/4 its time to run. If you have half of your xp and your enemy 1/4  its time to chase.

Press the health bar key 4 times.

It will show you on screen the health of enemys and your allies, great for knowing who to shield/heal.

UB / Sedna is somewhat special, actually Sedna + most other dgs. Sometimes you can't focus on the sedna, if she stays out of battle while the other dg is tanking (often UB, or OAK). What you can do here is attack the tank and when sedna goes in to heal, you switch to her. Let's say you have her and the tank down to 50%. You then focus on whoever she doesn't heal the next cooldown. If you can't attack the sedna, this is the only change you have to get her involved and killed, or get the tank killed.

This is very hard with 2 dgs, unless you have a serious advantage; doable with 3 dgs though.
