Transfer visual styles on WindowBlinds from one computer to another one.

I recently purchased a new notebook and installed WindowBlinds 7 because I have Windows 7 OS on it. But how can I move my many visual styles and skins that I had in my previous notebook to my new notebook. Do I have to go back to the WinCustomize website and download all of them again or can I move them from my old notebook to my new notebook and install them under WindowBlinds? Please help.

I have the same problem with CursorFX Plus where I had lots of cursors on there but since I got a new notebook, I can't seem to move them to CursorFX on the new notebook.

Cheers.

Hi Warren,

You can copy the skins and cursors from your old notebook to a DVD, an external hard drive or onto a thumb drive (USB) and then copy them to your new notebook.  In case you don't know the path, go to:  Computer (C:\)\Users\ Public\ Public Documents\Stardock\Window Blinds (for Vista) and you will see all of the different skins there.  Copy and paste them to the thumb drive or external hard drive or burn them to a DVD.  Copying and pasting could take several minutes. In WB, you will need to rebuilt the list of skins when you're done.

For Cursor FX you will need to go to Computer\Users\ Public\Public Documents\Stardock\Cursor FX and you will find the cursors there under "themes" and the "sounds" as well.

If you were using XP, you will need to go to My Computer\Documents and Settings\Public, etc.  If you don't have an external drive, you can get a thumb drive for $10 - $20 almost anywhere.  They're great and make moving files very easy.
