Dream Manager 1.3.0 for DeskScapes 3

Hi, John!

I´ve updated your DM, but it works not for me.

After restart my pc, comes this message:

I have the newest beta of DeskScapes and Win7 64bit.

Did you redownload Dream Manager from http://www.vistadreams.org/dreammanager/Default.aspx?p0=DreamManagerSetup.exe?

I tried it with the update option of your old DM and then, i downloaded and installed DM from your link.

The same result.

The error message comes and DM don´t start.

I experience the same problem as ablev1, DreamManager won't start since it did not detect DeskScapes. I have the newest beta of DeskScapes and Win7 32bit.

You have to uninstall and then reinstall DeskScapes.  I believe that upgrading from a previous version that did not have double-click support in windows explorer to the current version that does is not properly updating the registry to allow double-clicking in explorer and thus Dream Manager fails to run.

Let me know if this works for you or not.

This worked for me, thanks. I thought that Beta 2 (which was the the first version of DeskScapes installed on this system) added support for double-clicking .dream files but apparently this was not the case.

hi i uninstaled the beta versinn off deskscapes 3 instaled the new versin then i instaled new version off dm and all works great on windows 7 no probs thanks fantastic work

Hey TMB.  A weird bug has popped up with the latest Deskscapes update (6th Jan as far as I can tell, the actual version number didn't change though) where when DreamManager starts it kind of just hangs...  when you bring up the window, its fully functional, but the status line says 'Starting...' and no dream is ever selected.  Easily remedied by forcing it to 'Switch Now' and then the program starts up and loads the thumbnails etc and starts doing its thing.  Minor bug.

Thanks for the post. I'm not seeing this issue on my PC.  Perhaps a reinstall of either Dream Manager or Deskscapes would fix it?

FYI. I'm going to soon be end of lifeing Dream Manager as the Deskscapes native UI has come along way since I first developed it.
