Disappearing icons with Fences 1.0/Win7

I've been happily using Fences on Vista for some time now (great program by the way) and have just transferred to Windows 7.

For the most part Fences works fine, but I've noticed that many times when I rename an icon on my desktop, the icon just vanishes (other icons re-arrange themselves to fill the gap, so I'm assuming the icon is being deleted, rather than just becoming invisible). Pressing Ctrl-Z to Undo, brings the icon back. This happens whichever method I use to rename the icon (by clicking on the name, via contrext menu, etc). I haven't been able to establish why the bug only affects some icons and not others.

Has anyone else encountered this problem/found a solution?

Yes, I've noticed it...when you rename an icon it'll 'fall off' the fence.

Right-click on the desktop...and choose 'refresh'...and it'll be there [off the fence].

Then just drag it back on where you want it...;)

Yeah, I had the same thing happen... thought I buggered something up.

Jafo's fix did the trick, tho... and you can rename icons on the desktop ok, then drag them to the Fence.

Funny thing, tho, some of mine buggered off to my second monitor... which wasn't on at the time of their disappearance; hence I ended up with two of each until I figured it out.

This happens in Win 7 64 Bit before Fences installed too, I hate desktop icons taking 3 to 4 lines text so I shortened offenders and found they disappeared until refresh of desktop.
