Cannot uninstall DeskScapes

I can not uninstall DeskScapes from Add/Remove programs, so i tried to uninstall it from Impulse, then i have this error message:

Files necessary for uninstalling DeskScape are not available.

I installed DeskScape again but result is same...

___

Second is reason of why i want to uninstall it;

When I'm using my computer from its battery, DeskScapes is pausing. This is good but, when DeskScape paused i can't use my desktop.

I can't see it, i can't refresh it. Is there any solution to solve this or disabling?

samilce....if you have WindowBlinds, go to the SysInfo tab in the config window and please copy and paste your system info do we can try to give you advice.

Right click on Deskscapes in Impulse and choose "Verify Installation". If it needs updating, do that. Then reboot and uninstall through Impulse using the right click on the software.

I hope this way works. If not, if you have a free utility like CCleaner, you should be able to uninstall with it or Revo Uninstaller.

I don't have WindowBlinds.

I thought that 'overlay' idea. I reinstalled DeskSpaces twice. But it says missing files but it don't looks about that, I think it is about DeskSpaces.

CCleaner doing nothing different than Windows Add/Remove.

If there isn't any solution i try my ways like registry etc.?!?

OK...try verifying installation in Impulse as I edited my first response (didn't see your answers).

Doing what I described in #1 should do it.

If it doesn't, open a ticket at stardock support, and reference the url of this thread.

Yes, i tried to verify it.

Impulse needed an update and done it. Then i tried to verify. It said It can't verify it because DeskSpaces need an upgrade.

I tried to upgrade it, but it needs registration, and my Impulse registration didn't work.

Now, i tried to uninstall it without verify. After Impulse upgrade, i uninstalled DeskScapes.

Thanks for answers ;). But i will try other Stardock programs rather than DeskScapes.

What version are you running?

If you are running DeskScapes 2, you need to enter the email address that you purchased DeskScapes under in Impulse to find your registration number.

If you didn't purchase it and are using the 1.02 free version for Windows Vista Ultimate, you need to reinstall that version from the following link...DeskScapes 1.02
