Overseer turn rate

Was trying out some things that were changed since I left the game.  Built some overseers to support my vasari fleet - something I never did before because in my opinion overseers sucked (required too much micro, turned way too slow, died way too easy to a few fighters, etc).

I'll be damned if the damn things STILL seem to turn as slow as mollasses in January.  I was looking at the screen thinking "you mean these things actually used to turn slower?"

Is it just me, or do these things still suck?  Will someone tell me "heck no - these things are great now man!  highly usable!"

Just asking.

They are very useful if used right.  Their turn rate is still incredibly slow, but if you keep them behind you fleet, they should be able to use their abilities without too much delay.

In the largest fleets possible, you might want up to ten of these.  but that's about it.

The slow turn rate is a pain in the neck, but overseers are the difference between life and death for your capital ships.  With that in mind, their quirks are worth putting up with.

I usually make them a separate fleet/group think, and take off auto attack and park them near, but behind, my caps. If my caps need to start running, I could honestly care less about the 12-15 (at the very most) overseers behind them. i probably wont lose them all, but they are much easier to replace.

And lets face it, if my caps are dying despite the Overseers, I'm a little whipped regardless.
