Mod Locking up on Windows 7

I have a machine, nothing spectacular, running windows 7.

My specs are as follows:

2GB of RAM

2.6 Ghz dual core intel processor

Radeon X300 video card

I'm running everything but ship bump at medium (Ship bump is on low), and the mod I'm trying to run is Star Wars: Requiem after using Harpo's mod updater to make it run at 1.041. I am able to enable the mod, but as soon as I click apply changes, the game locks up and I have to use Task Manager to shut it off. Any ideas, or does my system just suck (And trust me, I know)?

Also, I have tried running it in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode, and I still get the same result.

I also have trouble running requiem after running my updater with requiem 2.54. the CAPITALSHIP_IMP_DEATHSTAR.entity
appears to be corrupted as entrenchment1.041 wants to read 1392508928 bytes actual read 284.

also the SAME entity will not convert to txt with convertdata_entrenchment.exe from 1.03.

the problem is a corrupt file.

I think we should bug jasonfj about it

So you're thinking that something in the 1.41 code corrupted the file as it passed through the mod updater?

actually I posted the issue in th requeim thread and was told about a install.bat that will delete the file as it is no longer used. in the mod's folder run the install.bat , then run the manifest maker and it will then run properly

I recreated the entity manifest. I'm going to try to recreate all manifests, but it still froze.

there appears to be an errors in the StarBaseAll.entity

the first is two lines starting with picture" (delete the first line that is blank)

the second is to do with the max starbase upgrades in line 161 that reads UpgradeTypeCount and should have a line inserted before it reading maxUpgradeLevelCount 8

after making these changes it does run

It's still a little buggy, but then again, it's not exactly made for 1.041, lol. The up and right arrows don't like to work and the GUI is fairly dark, and not all of the borders show up, but the buttons are there and they all work, so I can live.
