Unusual Display positions hides icons

I have 2 locations where I use an additional display with my laptop.

My primary display is ALWAYS set as my laptop display.

The environments are such that my secondary display is either above or to the left of my primary display.

When I enable these displays with Fences, the fences appear empty (no icons).

Running IE8 and Win 7 RC.

Help?

Hi relativityboy - any chance I can get a screenshot?

I have similar and unfortunatly haven't been able to reproduce no matter which way I move my monitors. If you put the secondary on the right, does the program go away?

Are you able to see your icons on any monitor at all, or on none? Can you see icons that *aren't* in fences, or just not icons that are in fences? If you can see any and you take a fence and drag it from one monitor to the other, do the icons just disappear when you move them? Sorry for the crazy questions just trying to get an idea of what is happening! Thanks
