TB_Master's Hybrid Rook

Tested about 30 times on multiplay and worked greatly!

SO, I have seen a lot of rooks that is weak or strong. I realized most of them are getting just towers, or just hammers. In my opinion, getting only hammer without tower is the weakest early game, and even slow leveling up. Therefore, I suggest to get both. As the hybrid beast is the strongest so far, this biuild will work greater than other rooks. Here's the build

The reason that i don't get god strength , structural transfer early

God strength: You are  not a chaser, or you are not a tank. Your shoulder and towers will do enough damage. You can get later to whore the enemy's towers. even if you get +150 damage, it will be same as if you don't get it. And rook doesn't have much accuracy while chasing, or has little accuracy of first hit to demigod like oak.

Structural Transfer: some people say its rook's free potion, but its 95% not. it has long cool down, long cast time(10sec). its useless. You will experience that during the battle, you try to get heal by towers, but 70% of it will be stunned by enemies. I would just get sigil of vitality to run away.

Favor item:

Staff of renewal(200health, 175 mana, 20% cool time reduction): 20% cool down, if you get enough mana, you can just make towers and towers , boulder roll, hammer anytime. remember since you didn't get blood of fallen, don't tank. No direct fight with 2 demigods. Just build towers and get closer to their towers. And with cool down reduction, you can build full 8 towers about 20 seconds faster.

Essence of magic(210mana, +7 mana per second, use: mana cost =0 for 3 seconds): One of the least used favor item. Not 100% tested for usefulness but i use it often on multiplay. First of all, 7 mana per second is huge, it allows you to get only one extra mana item such as 1500 and 1750 helm. And later, you can use combo . activate essence of magic + build 1 tower + boulder roll enemy + Hammer slam. It can save your mana about 2500at level 10 or so ,,,every 45 seconds.

Other choice: blood of fallen, swift anklet (worked great with boots of speed)

Item order:

Banded armor

Scaled armor (skip if you have essnce of magic)

scaled mail

unbreakable boots

nimoth chest armor

vlemish faceguard

speed boots or speed wand if needed

1500 helm (skip if you have essence of magic)

namoth ring

groffling warplate

Strategy in Cataract

your mission at start is to keep 15% health flag. after the game starts, go to that flag and build 1 tower and the other if creeps or enemy comes. when you reach lv 4, and if enemy is not approaching, destroy the tower right there. ANd go to other side, and destry that too. and wait for level 7 and go to middle. Build full 6 towers and when creeps are coming to middle, approach them so that they can follow you to towers-field. level up like that and if you reach 10, stay there and keep level up or go to gold flag side and destroy towers. (if you have staff of renewal, 15% cool time flag first would be better).and if you reach lv 15, your health will be over 6k and because of your towers, slam, no one will fight you 1v1. always carry teleport. or combat health early game and sigil of vitality from mid-late game.

fun factor -> 0/10 enemy stays away from you the entire game, its like you vs the enemy base



slam rook:
viability -> not as strong as hybrid rook early game
fun factor -> 10/10 priceless

The mana is really great early game. I've never been able to get a boulder roll/hammer slam within the time of activating EoM.

Seems like you'd almost have to get EoM...  Boulder Roll is expensive, and I don't think I've ever seen a build get Boulder2 at 10.  Also, Shoulders >> God Strength.

This is pretty much how any serious rook plays.  The only difference I have is that I'll get Trebuchet early some games because it is really amazing against towers, and it actually does decent DPS against DG's - and sometimes tags me free kills.  I almost always will take Staff of Renewal - more towers a lot faster, and more boulder rolls when I need them.
