Mines need slight delay

Reg is a weak fighter, I know, but the mines are a bit ridiculous as grenades.  You can't get rid of them.  He throws them on your feet and you are insta-slowed and heavily damaged.

If it was "Grenade", it'd be fine too.  Then there would be no mines on the deck to step on.  Or if it's "Mines", and he can't contact detonate, fine.  But they're "Grenade-Mines".

Makes Regulus more dangerous than the player's skill should be.  I appreciate when they throw them behind you or in front, so you have the chance to dodge, but when they throw them on you, you cannot (I've tried) to interrupt him (no skill will activate fast enough) and you can't get off the mines (I've tried) before they detonate.  In fact, you can't turn around in move away once he starts the animation.  Your going to take it full facial style.

Yup, mines rock. The only drawback being that they are not mana / cost effective until you have level 3 mines. Which I guess is good considering you put 3 points into something that you cannot use for a while effectively. So you're weaker early game, and mid to late game you get better. Fair trade off.

There's already a slight delay, they don't trigger the instant they hit the ground.

Mines are fine.

Haven't tested this. but would cloak of night teleport trigger the mines, because technically you are moving. Just curious.

You can interupt mines. Have played as a reg many times before and it has happened to me plenty.

Cloak of night is instant and hsould get you out of range, if you have that.

Why should they be so hard? Fireball does over 1000 damage for a point and click. Bite does a tremendous amout of insta-ownage.

if anything, reg needs more of a buff.

cloak does not trigger mines. you can cloack over mines or out of them. of course you can cloak into them too ;)

reg with weaker mines would be inferior to all dgs.

edit: why mines are often much stronger th

edit2: not to forgett the slow effect

If you teleport through them no, if you teleport on them, yes.

I think mines are fine.  When I'm fighting Reg and he throws them at my feet, I move closer to him.  There's just enough time to do that, but not enough to turn around and get away.

The only time this doesn't work is when the area is busy with lots of other stuff and I missed seeing the mines getting thrown.  Sometimes I don't see Reg or Erebus teleport in either, because they're small and easily blend in with minions or get blocked from view by that clumsy Rook.

The invisible mines are a PITA, and I usually ride the back of a minion wave to avoid them.  If there's no minion wave and the Reg is trying to get you to follow him, your spider-senses should alert you to a potential trap (and I've seen some brilliant ones).

A shop item to temporarily reveal invisible mines might be a nice addition to the game (actually, the revelation totem does this already, though, big surprise, it may be bugged).

totem of revelation will reveal mines too if your spidey sense needs a buff

Mines are fine as is, in my opinion. They're annoying for some Demigods, like Rook, however it's easy to counter them. When facing a Regulus as Minion Erebus, for example, I try and keep myself in amongst the creeps; once he throws down his mines to try and kill both myself and my minions, I merely Bat Swarm to him which saves me from the mines, Bite him to slow him down and although the mines killed some of my minions, they've respawned as other creeps were killed too and he's in some serious trouble.

While you many many others hate mines, they are not OP in any way.

I don't think we need to gimp poor old regulus even further, do we?
