The Puke Test

I am hungry, but I don't know if my stomach is stable enough to let me eat.
So I have developed the "puke test" based on what happened to me earlier this morning.
I was reading Ernest Hemingway and couldn't handle it, because it was all about alcohol and knew if I read even a word more I would puke.
So I've decided if I can handle reading Hemingway's alcohol talk without puking, I should be able to eat some fricking crackers.
I AM TIRED OF BEING SICK! I slept since 9:30 or so this morning until 2:00, interrupted only by two phone calls: work and mama. That was nice. That should be enough sleep to heal someone. I should be not sick now, because I slept for so long. I should be okay now. I should also be able to permanently move into my apartment because I am SICK of this stupid dorm room with NOTHING in it!!!! I don't even have normal pillows--I slept on a gold velvet/purple silk fringey couch pillow and a purple blanket as a pillow today. Talk about not having ANY resources in this room! Not even a hair brush.

Stupid flu! Now, if only it would last til tomorrow so I don't have to work... But with my luck i'll feel fine in the morning
