Well this is going to be a huge rant.. so if your not in the mood..leave now!
First thing I gotta say is FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!
My best mate is a nurse and is as we speak sipping cocktails on a resort island in Queensland, ALL EXPENSES PAID three day holiday ! by you guessed it .. the pharmaceutical company trying to flog off a new HIV drug to the medicos.
I mean FUCK!
Where is my all expenses paid resort holiday? Hello Mr Pharmaceutical drug company it is people like ME you gotta be selling this drug to not the nurse that takes my blood. It is people like ME your making the money from, people like ME who has to put up with the fucking side effects of the fucking drug your making you BIG dollars from.
SO where is my holiday? Im the one who has been taking your myrad of combinations for the past 8 years of my life. Instead of sipping cocktails like the nurses on the island this morning im popping the cocktails your making in your labs. Right now I want my money back. let me tell you why.
* I gotta run to the toilet at least 5 times a day at unexpected times where my bowel cannot hold.
* I get unbearable heartburn after taking your cocktail, as soon as I lay down I can feel the acid build up in my throat.
* When Im asleep at night I have dreams ..no not just noraml dreams but nightmares ..not only once in a blue moon but EVERY night.
* I cannot function between the hours of 7am and 1pm due to feeling like I am on a bad ecstacy pill.
* The fat from my face and limbs are building up around my gut causing what is known as Lypodystrophy.
* I am nauseas. Not only a little nauseas but I have sweeping nausea that seems to come from the tips of my toes.
So MR Pharmaceutical company where the fuck is my Holiday? Why are you sending me on this island so you can sell this product to ME the consumer, the one your making the money from?
Sure your extending my life... but sometimes, the side effects out whay the benefits from living. Is it about quality or quantity of life that your aiming for?
