Amazing

This is for the devs really, I couldn't find a way to contact you directly so anyway:

Sins is amazing, thanks for the great game, but I possibly have a bug:

Changing screen size in game doesn't effect window size (I had to change via the settings file, not a major problem)

and a request: more brilliant music please with the next expansion or something.

It's not a bug, it just defaults the window to a set resolution unless you do change the default window res in the settings file.

There are actually several hidden settings/options that they didn't put into the menus since they're fairly minor. For example, you can also toggle snap-to-entity on mouse zoom. It's defaulted on so camera snaps to the closest entity to your mouse cursor when you're zooming, you can turn it off so it doesn't auto-center on any unit.

WHERE?!?! its so annoying to zoom down to planet level to try and place a structure, and have the camera moving because he locked on to some damn cargo ship...

Try selecting a planet zoomed out when you have a full economy going, all you get is a cargo/trade ship. Talk about frustrating...

thats another annoying one... why would the game think it is more important to select insignificant, uncontrollable trade/cargo ships, instead of a planet?

i mean, when you click on a planet and a cargo/trade ship is about to arrive via phase space, the game selects the cargo ship, not the planet... kinda annoying.

i know it can be fixed by turning off trade/cargo ship icons, but without it, the feeling of having an interstellar empire is kinda lost...

check your settings folder, under the camera file

look for

zoomToCursorLocksOnMovingEntities TRUE -> FALSE
zoomToCursorSnapsToEntities TRUE -> FALSE

You can just turn off cargo ships!  That's what I did.  No real reason to see them in action, unless you want to blow them up to level up your Cap ship (and barely scratch his trade).

Go to: Options > User Interface > Show Cargo Ship Icons.  Uncheck the box.

Could always select the planet while zoomed out then click Caps Lock or Middle Mouse button to zoom in instead of scrolling
