Strong map specific DG's

Well i have seen post about strong combo's, but havnt really seen any post connecting Dg's to maps.

So, being bored at work, i wonderd what we can put togheter:

Example (wich i find true btw)

Cataract :

Top god: Rook

The narrow lane's of Cata make him my most feared oppenent.

Top god combo: Backed up by a competent Queen they can have you tower down by the time your lvl 2.

So please post your fav Map combo's and ill add them to the post. I think this kind of information can be very usefull since the same powerfull rook, is allot less powerfull on lets say prison.

Ok, anything below this line is not written by me, its taken from replies here:

Zigurat :

Regulus on zigurat or whatever its called, because on the inside lanes he can quite comfortably sit near his tower, and shoot away at anything from considerable safey, farm mobs, shoot the enemy, shoot the enemy tower once he gets some range, effectively locking off a lane for most of the fight. i.e Camping the artifact shop can give you a huge advatage late game if the match drags on long enough.

Exile

And Erebus on exile because of batswarm. You can't trap him at a crystal, in the middle ground he can warp accross the 2 flags, he can even go halfway down the lane, warp across to the enemy base and start trashing stuff, and can be out of there before you get to him - obviously the warpstone or cloak of night gets the same effect, but you'll be sacrificing or spending tons of gold for the same effect.

Crucible

I'd add sniper-Regulus on crucible - with some speed bonus items this DG can get a compelling advantage on the map's only real chokepoint and force an enemy DG back into his base by repeatedly sniping and running away.  It won't stop a determined group of DGs from bum rushing him, but is definitely a factor since the snipe is effectively unavoidable on such a small map.

Combo:

Erebus and rook on crucible.

Erebus for teleporting across the gaps to bases and rook for tower camping the only creep wave intersection

 Combo

I like sedna/rook on crucible.  The rook/sedna combo is unpushable off a lane once they get any towers down, and if a erebus depends on batswarming across to get the flags capped, the sedna can simply walk over and take him in a fight - a minion erebus can't bring his minions with him batswarming across, and no other erebus has a shot against sedna.  Meanwhile, the other DG can't be pushing a tower rook out of his farm alone, 'specially if the sedna left him a monk/bishop.  (And, of course, the sedna can always cloak of night if needed).  But, of course, the main thing is no one can come close to the lane control that a sedna/tower rook can unleash.

Ok, and wy do you think they are that strong, plus wich god suplements that god the best on that map for what reason :)

To narrow it down abit, i wanne gather as much map specific benefits for the gods.

QoT+Sedna on Crucible IIRC.

Lev is good for everyone with the +15 health and mana flags off the bat. Makes life EZ for me as TB, endless mana without the need to use BotS

No, I mean Lev. Exile you actually have to fight over the flags. Lev you just have them by default in your base.

Attrition damage is hurt a lot due to +15 hps for everyone. Spit doesnt mean as much on this map.

My own openion, I love TB/QoT have the best benefit here, they can both gain +50% of the +15 mps.

I would respectfully argue Rook is actually better on Prison or Crucible than the larger maps like cataract, etc.  Rook's slow speed difference is minimized on the smaller maps.  He can get back to health crystals, retreat to towers, and make shopping runs much faster than on the larger maps without the aid of either wasting his favor slot with amulet of teleportation or flushing excess cash buying scrolls.

He is also better able to cover multiple flags or a larger area on Prison.  You can easily tower up 2 of the 3 flags and *almost* get both creep waves by hanging out in the middle.

Defensive towers are in smaller supply on the smaller maps, making his summoned towers all the better.  Lose 2 towers on Mandala?  Not the end of the world, lose 2 towers on Prison, you might be in the a hurting.  At least Rook can shore up one side while your team regroups.

Anyhow, I suppose to add to your list, I would say Rook is top demigod on Prison, with a supplemental DG partner of Oak/Sedna for heals and minions.

Hmm piznit, Rook is considerd the one of the worst gods on prison. His towers dont really work there. And a Rook withouth a tele scroll is a bad rook, for shopping/fleeing.

The damage of towers can be amazing, but you cant hide behind them on prison, people can just go around them. Thats wy he is so populair on cata, small lane's. If you spread them over 2 flags they wont really do much.

In most cases when you host a prison game and  you choise rook, its considerd a win for the opposite party.

An assasin rook can be good there i guess, but most people favor minions classes on prison.

Sorry, but i disagree to much to add it, so unless i get confinced by a few others im not gonne add him on prison.

Look me up and we can play a game for fun.  I'll be rook, on prison, you can be whoever.  Custom games choices are so limited anyhow.

QoT is OP on every map... and my arguement for that is; come on is frigging Queen need i say more.

On a more serious note this arguemnt shouldnt be who is the strongest one x map but rather what group (of 3 i'd say as thats what most poeple play) of demigods are more powerful on a specific map. And then you could argue something like.

Rook + Sedna + UB are the strongest trio on cataract because... Rook will for the most part be able to hold the health flag down for the +15% health bonus with relative ease due to his towers and overall health n armor and stuns and slams with those and he becomes trully scary in the middle of a farm.

This allows Sedna and UB to pretty run for flags, and as they usally do, dominate the pants off the other team. They can always TP in on rook if he gets doubled on and quickly finish off or heal anyone who comes in.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just think that would make more sense if you are looking for arguements and counter arguements over demigods ect as this is a team game and not a 1v1 game... well some people enjoy that i guess. And you'll probably get alot more interesting arguements/strategies this way as well as generally people understand who should have a basic adavantage over others on a given map, but really a team with a good strategy can make that reg on zig look like a clown, or that rook on cataract thier personal gold farm. :)
@pop 808, wasnt my request to right down your strongest god, and a good combo with him?
Cat:
Rook: boulder, narrow lanes for towers, farm center at level 7, kill both creep waves, get trebuchet at level 8 and work their towers while holding the xp flag, killing all creeps for massive xp + gold so you get fast level 10. Put gold into cit upgrades.
Auto attack reg with proper build: turn on wand of speed, enemy is dead, all you need to do is right click
Erebus: early lane dominance, late game bat swarm portal ninja'ing
Leviathan:
Reg: snipes all day. narrow lanes, good for dropping mines.
Exile:
Reg: see leviathan.
Crucible:
Erebus: bat swarm exploit and early dominance of neutral gold mine flag
Beast: Dominance of neutral gold mine flag
