Tie your blog directly to a message forum

JoeUser's newest feature available is the addition of message forums. But instead of just implementing standard forums, we went the extra step and integrated your blogs into the forums So now when you post a new blog article you have the option to have your article also show up in the forums.

The forums interface makes it much easier navigating articles via categories. So if you are interested in politics you can go to the Politics forum and can catch many of the political blogs all in one spot. And now with icons indicating whether or not an article has new responses since you last read it makes it a breeze to navigate through articles in which you are interested in!

And of course if you are not ready to create your own blog, but you have some opinions that you want to share, then the forums is the place for you!

hmmm

I'm not sure I understand the purpose of this. What advantage would I have to NOT post every article in the forums? And for that matter, why would I post a new Forum thread when I could just make it a blog article?

Don't get me wrong, the interface is VERY nice, but I just dont see all that much difference from clicking on the Channel list.

You can do private blogging on JoeUser as well. So if you were doing something private where you only wanted a certain group of people to view it then you would not want your article posted on the forums. But for the most part I agree with you that most of the time you will want to have your article posted to the forums as well.

And for people who do not want to create their own blog site but may start a discussion on a particular subject then they do so through the means of the forums. So they can still create their own topics without having to have their own blog.
