Strange, but I'd bet it's more likely an issue with reactor reporting the version (note the reactor version is 0) than that person actually running 1.0.
He is always matched up against an AI, he plays the games to the end and the games never count. And in those statistics, the version also says 1.00.0091: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/games/player/73897/
