Explorer Windows Background color not setting

or is the Skin Preview not indicative of the actual contents?

Good afternoon all,

I am using the Atlantek visual style downloaded from this site (have been since 2004 I think), and i am finally getting around to inquring about the explorer background color.  The Atlantek screenshot (and the preview in WB) has the explorer background colored somewhat dark green, with light gray text and whatnot.  While the control panel (in Category View) works this way, nothing else does.  I seem to recall making changes to these items in Skin Studio a number of versions ago, and it changed text and background colors systemwide making other items completely unreadable.  Is this by design or am I missing something somewhere?

1. its a pretty old skin, may be ok, may need updating, 2. Best not to trust skinstudio previews, always apply the skin and check. 3. Window background color and text colors are both located in the colors section of SKS6
