It won't let me move them. And why doesn't it let me put icons inbetween other ones? And why does it make seperators at the very end?
Could you possible tell us which operating system you are using and which version of ObjectDock? Please be a little more concise, hard to understand what you are asking exactly. Thanks.
You should be able to move the seperators by just clicking and draging them. If that's not working for you, try moving the icons to the other side of them. Make sure you do not have the 'lock dragging' checked. You can find that by rightclicking on the dock.
I'm using Vista 64. I do not have the 'lock dragging' checked, but it still won't let me drag the seperaters.
try adding one the where yuu want - if that works then try dragging off or deleting the other
it only adds a seperator to the very end of the right. Never where ever I choose. Is there a way to back up my settings? I might just reinstall it.
Edit: Okay I know how to backup stuff. Now, are there any options in the .ini's that can help me out here? Or should I jsut reinstall?
Mine adds a separator on the right too, then just drag icons to the other side of it. Yours doesn't do that?
I have a bunh of seperators and icons, it will be a pain to move them.
RightClick under a separator and click "Remove this Separator" until you have how many you want, then drag the icons where you want them. That's how it works, can't be much easier...not a pain at all.
but I can only add seperators to the end, so nothing would be seperated.
i'm using odock freeloader version, my separators are invisible, yet i can still move them to where i want
if i switch to a theme with visible separators i can move them to where i want
i just wish they'd go 'poof' when i drag them off
Read slowly....remove all separators, add 1 separator to the right side of the dock, click and hold the icon next to it and drag it over the separator. The separator will move to the left and you can release the mouse button and it will stay there.
Repeat as necessary.
Is there a reason why I cannot move the seperators freely like Rocket Dock?
Because it's............Object Dock?
