Long delays in multiplayer menu - Now "invalid username/password"

After clicking the "Multiplayer" button on the main screen the I have to wait over a minute before I even see the login dialog.

Then, after clicking login, I had to wait minutes again before anything happens. That was yesterday.

Today I can't login because of "You have entered an invalid username and/or password".

What's going on ?

same problem here!

every step in the menu takes me a couple of minutes! very frustrating, but now its working again...
