Why are girls staring at me??

Well I dont know what has been unleashed but since I wrote that article about being a virgin (a girly virgin) there has been an influx of women making passes at me!
Am I putting the wrong vibes out there? It's kinda flattering but at the same time makes me feel really nervous. I dont know how to react to it.
I was putting petrol in my car the other day and there was a car with a guy and two girls in it. I was oblivious to what was going on but one of the girls was checking me out. The guy came upto me and said "hey mate, my friend likes you.. " I was like "umm yeah ok... thats nice..." What was I supposed to say???
Then I was in a clothes store and this girl was hanging around me... I was again oblivious to what was happening until when I looked up at her she winked at me!
OMG! what's happening?? What am I supposed to do when these things happen?
It's amazing what a buzz haircut, some sun and a little goatee can do to some people!
