2 comps behind same router. we cant join same game but we can play in different games

Me and my bro want to play in the same game but if one of us joins the other cant. we can play in 2 different games with no problem. Is this some conflicting ports issue or some limit in NAT. Can someone point me in the right direction to solve this?

In the bin folder where the game is installed at there's a program called ImpulseReactorOptions. Run it one one of the machines and change the ports there so that they don't overlap with the other machine, then you should be able to be in the same game.
