Performance Decrease

I recently bought I laptop to play demigod on and the performance is worse than my desktop that has HORRIBLE specs

These are my machines

Asus Notebook G50VT series:

  • 4 gigs ram
  • Intel duo core P8400 @ 2.26GHZ
  • Nividia 9800 512MB


Compaq Presario

  • 1 gig ram
  • Intel single core @ 2.2GHZ
  • Nvidia 8600 512MB

Why am I getting sim speed in the negitive on my notebook???? Please answer this because I am a very frustrated customer and I spent 800 on this notebook. If you need more info let me know I can get both dxdiag if they are needed to find my problem.
