Fences needs to close

Keep on getting a "Fences Settings has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." popup. Fences doesn't actually close, but I have to delete 20 or so of the false messages every morning. I've tried removing and re-installing, but the pop-ups keep coming.

Acutally, fixed this on my own. Problem was, a Restore had messed up my .NET 2.0. Which I discovered, is almost impossible to delete, re-install, or repair. Found an app online that will clean up all (or selected) .NET installs, associations, and registries so you can re-install .NET. Fences happy now.
