WTF FLEET SIZE

(pardon extra spaces or errors, i have a bad keyboard)  K. So im gunna try and control myself when i write this, but im very  angry at this game. It  seems really fun, I like the  new  take, but WTF. I can have what, 100 fleet size? So I get a capital ship and some little guys. I took over some planets when  all of a sudden two capital ships and a fleet  of little guys three times my little guys came to kill me. Now how the **** can they do this? there is no winning then.. Same with the pirate planets..they have about 30 defense platforms and 100 guys. Please  help, i really like the game but if this is not a simple fix i wan a refund for this pos.

to increase your fleet supply you have to research the incresed fleet supply.

to do that build 1 research lab and go to your research sccreen click on the fleet part and upgrade the bottom one. to get more caps you can upgrade the top one.

you have to get more research labs for each upgrade up to 8 which is 2000 fleet supply or 16 capital ships.

 

you are not supposed to kill the pirates early on, just turn them off or make sure you put bounty on the other people.

If you look in the research tab, you'll find a Fleet Logistics (or something thereabouts) sub-tab. In it you can find the ability to research a cap of max fleet points (for a resource penalty, of course). There is also a capship section in that research area too (although that's terribly expensive and generally not worth the cash past the first couple levels.)

Alright. i was looking for this option but i guess i was completely blind. I didnt expect a reply  so soon, so thank you both a lot. Now to actually  attempt  a win instead of epic fail..lol. Good gaming to you all.

Pirates don't behave in the same manner as other AI players - they do not build an empire and are indifferent to culture. The only time they acquire ships is if there are ships that survived a raid and managed to get back to the nearest pirate base. Even if pirates are active, bombing all existing pirate bases to neutrality stops any further raids from being undertaken.

Just remember that once you increase your fleet capacity, the tax on you also increases and you cannot reduce your maximum fleet capcity and the tax later if you want to or need to.

Little tip to the OP - how about just asking your question rather then slagging off the game and demanding your money back and calling it a POS. A game doesn't win this many awards without ticking those basic functionality boxes - so make sure the issue is not a PEBCAK error...

One final thing to note - hard and unfair get extra resources so can have a larger fleet then you as they can afford it...
