install/reinstall

Help please.  i bought galciv2 but i have been unable to install and my autorun doesnt work it lets me play the game but constantly freezes.  Also I cant find anything but save files on my computer so i cant even delete the game and start over. I have looked under stardock files and Galciv2 files and they dont exist.  does anybody have any suggestions cuz im about to throw the game away....JK.  I really enjoy what ive been able to do so far but i want to get the full experience.  Also i dont have an internet connection to my computer so i know its not that.  the only way i can get out of the game window is to open my task manager end task and then restart the game and this is getting really old....... thx for any help
