Can't drag shortcuts/anything onto ObjectDock.

Not sure what the problem is.

I've seen another post with the exact same problem, and their solution was that they weren't running it as an administrator.

But I am.

I can't drag any shortcuts from my desktop/startmenu onto the dock; if I try I get the "O" with the line through it cursor.

I just installed it.

Running Vista 32-bit.

make sure you don't have 'lock dragging' turned on

what version # of object dock

free or plus

sometimes running as admin, a program still needs to be separately run as admin

If you had the free version installed before the Plus version, the free needs to be installed before installing the Plus.  If you didn't do that, save and backup any themes (dock arrangements) you want to keep, backup any icon images you've downloaded and want to keep, uninstall the Plus, unininstall the free (if it still shows), reboot, reinstall the Plus.

If you didn't have the free version installed before, or if doing the above doesn't fix it, you also might try clearing the OD cache as described in reply #2 here: https://forums.wincustomize.com/345368

Nope no luck with any of these.

I've tried clearing the cache, re-installing, removing everything, etc.

Nothing will work.

I'd really like to get this sorted as this is the only dock that I actually like!

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
