colonization

I just started playing and I use a dreadnout cap ship but i see to colonization button on the pannel what am i missing?

Only "Mothership" Capital Ships can colonize.

These are the Akkan Battlecruiser, Projenitor Mothership and the Jarrasul Evacuator.

Additionally Colony Frigates(Protev Colony Frigate, Missionary Vessel and the Jarun Migrator) are capable of colonization.

Nothing else can Colonize.
