Safari 4 (release version) won't work with WB

Latest news... Safari 4 is out! And WB is back riding the fail boat on it.

Cool beans. :P

EDIT: Ok ok... Safari does work, but WB doesn't skin it... I was too excited posting the news to check my way of saying it. :P

EDIT2: I think it's due to the fact that they've abandoned the nonstandard way of displaying tabs. *cheer*

I'm running the WB7 beta, but I would think it's the same on WB6. It worked fine on Safari Beta version, but when I upgraded to the release version the titlebar is all blank.

You might want to add that info to the WB7 beta bug report thread. It'll get more/quicker attention there. :)

It doesn't skin on WB6 in Vista either.

it never has skinned just as Itunes doesn't skin. hmm, not new news.

Actually, it skinned fine before I updated the safari beta to the release version, they fixed the skinning issue (for the beta) a few versions back. I would think it's that fix that need to be removed for the release version to work. Safari doesn't use a full custom skin like itunes does.

wont skin it in XP either. which is a pity, its very fast, albeit a ripoff of the FF design.

actually lost a post here, entertaining. I probably should have clarified that to whatever versions I was running in XP. however, I am running itunes on vista 64bit and it doesn't skin. not using safari anymore so...

The latest WB 7.0 Beta (Build 176 x86 (hmmmpf) - Vista Edition) - 64 bit OS solved the safari issue. Good job. :)

I would think it's sorted on XP and W7 too, but I haven't tried it, so I can't say for sure.
