missing ordinal 345

Hi there, just tried installing the demo, says for vista and xp. So I downloaded and i go to install and it says Vista is required. Installer will now close.
So I said a few naughty words and then clicked ok, but it allows me to continue so I do.
The installation appears to go fine untill it says this:
DreamTasks.exe - Ordinal Not Found
The ordinal 345 could not be located in the dynamic link library COMCTL32.dll.
I just tried installing on my second computer and it says the same thing. Ones xp pro sp3 and the other is xp home.
I really really want this program to work. I decided to download trial b4 i buy it and BAM it doesnt even work. Good thing Its only trial version huh?
O yeah almost forgot, was version 2.5
Any help would be very much appreciated.
