Please allow host to disable items individually.

Because I really, really, REALLY want to play without the goddamn heart of life. Overpowered as fuck, makes managing mana worthless, you can just spam your entire bar and get it back, or heal to full.

This would apply to favor items too, to hell with the swift anklet.

Maybe put a limit on the number of banned items, maybe 5 or so, so you don't get people banning absurd amounts. But then again, no one is forcing you to play those.

It's not like this would take a lot of programming work too.

LOL being available to everyone doesn't mean something is balanced.

Yes, it does.

Not necessarily, as the effectiveness of HoL varies depending on the DG. Oak and QoT can both shield themselves before using HoL, meaning that they can use HoL without having to worry about being interrupted by damage.

I'm not saying HoL is terribly unbalanced, because it isn't imo, but Oak and QoT both have an advantage while using it, even if they can both can be stunned through their shields(although some say stuns don't work on a shielded Oak).

Try buying cheap low health items for once instead of HoL. And you'll see depending on a HoL makes anyone fragile. (except Oak, but that's a bug about to be fixed)

You can get +1500 health (or more?) from that 4250, that health will be just enough to chase him into the towers when he's retreating making his HoL obsolete.

If he can outrun you, use Wand of Speed which is 1250, that 3000 gold is still enough for +1100 health upgrade.

HoL should cost a bit more, but I'm not even sure of that, it's a handy item that's it.

If you don't want to risk going through the towers use a universal gadget (500 gold, 650 damage) and your demigod's finisher move. Here's a tactic for every demigod (know that I'm a TB player, so these might not be so perfect)

  • Rook: Boulder Roll then Universal Gadget, when he tries to escape, that should finish him with 900 health.

  • UB: Spit + Universal Gadget, same.

  • Regulus: Universal Gadget, then Snipe.

  • TB: Fire mode: Fireball + Universal Gadget
Frost mode: Rain of Ice + Universal gadget

  • QoT: Closed: have a Shambler near him and when he's near 900 health Mulch it, 250 damage + Universal Gadget (650)
Opened: Spike Wave or Ground Spikes + Universal Gadget

  • Oak: Penitence + Universal Gadget

  • Sedana: Pounce + Universal Gadget (this might be hard with melee range Pounce, but still can be done)

  • Erebus: Bite or Bat Swarm + Universal Gadget

And now that the term Universal Gadget has burnt into your brain, you can learn to use it well.

TLDR version: You just have to figure out a HoL counter with your demigod and your opponent will curse the minute he bought that HoL.

Good point, I didn't consider that.
