Can't connect to Lobby

I get the connection screen in custom games, not the loading or the lobby itself.

Altho this does not occur for every custom game I try to play, it occurs often:

I attempt to connect to friend or a host for a custom game... i connect to all players and even hear the sounds of the typing in the lobby but never see the lobby itself!! Below I am including pictures to show what I mean.

 

I have noticed that this occurs with hosts and players that I can connect to at other times.

 

Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions please? (I've been canceling and trying again, but usually this does not help and I cant get to play the match).

First off your pictures don't work (This photo cannot be viewed because it has either been deleted or marked as private by the user.) but have you tried adding the /serverproxyonly to your shortcut? Just put that into the target of the shortcut like so: "C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe" /serverproxyonly
