I'd like to start this blog with the first verse of a song by Jars of Clay. The song is called "See the Art in Me"

Images on the sidewalk speak of dream's decent,
washed away by storms too great, of cynical lament
the dirty canvases, to call my own,
the protest limericks, carved, by the old pay-phone.

And looking in your picture book, I'm trying hard to see,
turning endless pages of this tragedy,
Sculpting every move you compose a symphony,

Well, I'm inviting all of the JU members to see the art in me. I've recently hit upon a site called deviantART. This site is kinda like a blog, but for your art. I subscribed and created my own account. You can check out some of my "Deviations" at this Link

In other news, it seems like the Capt., notsosmellysarah, and I have joined a Ska band. We got a name picked out in the 45 min we met today. Unofficially, we are "Viva la Boxtop" (I'd use the LOL smiley right here, but you can't use them in articles :P)

That's all I got for today. Limits in calculus, and relative velocity in physics, ketones, aldehydes, carboxcylic acids, and acid halides in Honors Organic, and the Phantom of the Opera and the Oedipus Cycle in Honors English. Fun fun!

You've never been to deviantART before? Oh my god, it is such an awesome site. I get almost all my desktop wallpaper from there, and all the other categories have amazing art as well. Definitely a thumbs up.

Phantom of the Opera in English?! WE NEVER DID PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, THIS IS CRAP. Oh, and by the way, all the literature Conkel makes you read and says that "your professors will definitely make you read this in college?" Fall of the House of Usher. That's it. Well, Secret Life of Walter Mitty as well, but we did that in Bougher (sp?), so I don't know if you have read it. Not doing any Shakespeare.

Limits are interesting - calculus is, in fact, the study of limits. Limits approaching infinity are the fun ones. And I wish I remembered any of that stuff from Chemistry.

didn't INSIST on having a P in the name. jeeze. But the best ska band ever was five iron ( tear, tear) and let them rest in peace. *sighs deeply* i have heard that jeffrey's fanclub is really good too.
