The other day myself and three of my friends, Sam C, Patrick, and Jessica, were sitting in Biology class. Woohoo! So much fun! We just started Chapter 7. This chapter deals with sexual reproduction, meiosis, and somethings about homosexuality.

So we're sitting there "helping" *cough*cheating*cough* each other with our asignment. Then we get to something talking about homosexuals. We got on to the discussion of homosexuality as becoming an evolution in humans. Then we say, well Sam says, "Once the last straight person dies, God will destroy the Earth!" If that wasn't funny, I don't know what was. Anywho............................. We started into a semi-arguement about how homosexuality could possibly become an evolution. And we tied into the convo. if gays were born that way or if if is a choice. Sam sorta agreed with me. But she said that for some people it is a choice for them to become a homosexual, and others are born that way. My opinion is that they choose to be that way. If God says that homosexuality is such an awful sin, then why would he make homosexuals? I know some one personally that told me they chose to be a bisexual. This kinda brings up the subject of if a person is born evil. No-they are not. you are evil if you do something bad. Being born, last time I checked, is not a sin. So why would you be evil. Ok, sorry to get off of subject.

So most of you are probably thinking I'm some bias homosexual hater. Wrong! Judge me how you want. But I'm sure I'll have some supporters on here!

I actually try to write blogs that have meaning, not try to rack up as many points as I can. This competition between you and the Capt. is getting a little extreme.

And, I'd say you'd probably want to take your church's catechism. I'm not catholic, but I even knew about your denomination's belief in the "original sin of Adam."

Ah, and eric, she is a Kerry supporter. So much for that assumption

Texas, no I didn't just do this for the points. It was a reason, but not the whole reason. I did post this to see what people would say about what they would say about our little coversation in Biology. Rather, if they think that one day homosexuality would become a sin or not.

Alex........once again you ruined my blog! Not to be "bitchy" but I hate it when you do that, and it really ticks me off. Just because you don't think it has meaning doesn't mean that I don't. That's your opinion. Everything said on here is everybody's opinion. That's why I emailed people. I wanted there opinions. Can't I be curious? Or is the some sort of new sin? Oh....by the way. I really didn't like either man runnning for president. So I really wouldn't call me a Kerry supporter.

Sarah, this definatly was not directed toward you in anyway. You are my friend. Even though sometimes i get angry with you, you're still one of my friends. I would never try to put this agaisnt you. you should know me better than that! lol.

And to all of you....I never said that I was getting this from the bible. I just simply stated it as my opinion. It is mybelief, as well as what everyone else is saying is their belief.

I can't even put anything of my opinoin on here with out getting harassed or critisized.

i know that you didn't mean it against me, i'm just saying. oh and eric if you had ever read the bible you would know it appears numeros times like Leviticus 18:22, Romans !:18-32, and 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10. yeah looks like the bi chic knows more about the bible than the "christians".

Ok-that's a good thing Sarah. I hope that you wouldn't take it into offense.

Anyway, it seems a bit premature to be formulating opinions on things of such serious nature at such an early age

Eric....it shouldn't matter how old you are. Just because I'm not an adult yet does not mean I can not make opinions about these things. Just because you think you may know more than me or that any other adult knows more than me(not saying that you said this.) You never know....I could possibly know somethings that you don't or that some other people on here don't know.

oh and no offense and i really do mean no offense toward you, but if you're going to have references to something like homosexuality and God's take on it you should really have scriptures to back it up. But its cool i put the kibosh on eric anyway.

carebear07, I would also like to add that sexuality is not so black and white as saying "I am straight, I am gay, I am whatever." There are infinate shades of gray in sexual orientation as there are in most other things in life. Some people are attracted to one sex or the other, others are attracted to both, and yet others fall somewhere in between and blow all of the stereotyping right out the window. This is one area where you cannot always fit people into neat little boxes although we, as humans, like it when we can put things into neat, little boxes. I don't think that people "choose" to be straight, bi, or hetero even if they say that they chose to do so. Does a person "choose" to fall in love with any particular person? Certainly not. Pershaps the only "choice" is whether to actively engage in sexual intercourse with any given person. There are a million reasons why people are attracted to one person or another but I don't think that gays choose to be gay anymore than a person chooses to be 6'2" with green eyes.

It has nothing to do with "how gay they are." Most of the time it has to do with wanting to be accepted by family, friends, and society. It's called societal peer pressure to conform to perceived "normal" standards. It doesn't call into question how "straight" or "gay" someone is.

Sarah~ Maybe sometime I can explain or even show you how to use it. If my dad ever gets my computer fixed, I can talk to you on yahoo b/c I have it on that computer. I'm pretty sure you do have yahoo messenger don't you? I guess according to Brandon you do.
