New Demigod Ideas: Maralith

My contribution to a new Demigod design

 

This Demigod might not be too original, but it might fill a gap. This Demigod is focussed pushing, something like a Rook but then this Demigod will be a general. The Demigod itself is half snake half human. And it will have to be a female. Admitted, it’s something like Medusa, but also quite different.

 

The looks:

The name of the Demigod is Maralith, with a torso of a human, long black hair, and out of modesty her breasts are covered nothing more then a simple rag of cloth that’s wrapped around her chest. Nothing revealing about it there. The lower body is scaly like that of a snake, has no legs but an extremely long tail which she uses to slither forward like a snake does. The size will be halfway between Oak and Rook. Human part with by white, and the snake part will be dark, swampy green.

 

Statistics:

Maralith is meant to be pushing. By itself she will have a high, more then other demigod but with only average HP regen.. Mana will be just average with average regen. Speed will be slow, only 5.0. however, because she already is so slow she has passive ability that allows her to be slowed down lower then 4.0. Escaping with this Demigod will be hard. However, skills are there to make her not a total free kill.

 

Skills:

Persuasion: This skill will make her control other minions for set amount of time. This only works minions from other demigods and reinforcements.

Rank 1: 9 sec control, no priests, no angels, no catapults, no giants

Rank 2: 12 sec control, no angels, no catapults, no giants

Rank 3: 15 sec control, no catapults, no giants

Rank 4: 18 sec control, no giants

Rank 5: 20 sec control, all minions, all reinforcements

 

Poisonous fang: This skills lowers the attack speed and attack power of an enemy demigod. Lasts 5 secs.

Rank 1: 10% reduction

Rank 2: 20% reduction

Rank 3: 30% reduction + 10% speed reductions

 

Iron Scales: This skill increases armour by 200 per hit. Each buff lasts 3 seconds

Rank 1: Stacks 2 times

Rank 2: Stacks 3 times

Rank 3: Stacks 4 times

Rank 4: Stacks 5 times

Rank 5: Stacks 5 times + 50 health leached per each hit received. (minions attack does not trigger it)

 

Power of Time: This skills increases the damage that structures take because the building gets old, time effect is reversed over time so that the increase of damage the tower takes decreases over time until the debuff is removed. The effect is reduced with 1% per second

Rank 1: 10% more damage taken

Rank 2: 20% more damage taken

Rank 3: 30% more damage taken

Rank 4: 40% more damage taken

 

Leech Snakes: This skill summons rather weak snakes that attack the enemy. The damage they cause is transferred to Maralith.

Stats leach snake

HP: 500  + (50*level)

Speed: 6.0

Attack: 20 + (2*level)

 

Rank 1: Summon 1, limit 2

Rank 2: Summon 2, limit 2

Rank 3: Summon 2, limit 4

Rank 4: Summon 3, limit 4

 

Statue: This skill petrifies Maralith self, making her immune for damage, debuffs, buffs. Maralith can not move, attack, use, regen or die. Spell cannot be cancelled by user.

Rank1: Last 1 minute

 

Mythological aura: This skill is like the stat increase skills, but this effects the minions and reinforcements.

Rank 1: +5% HP, + 5%MP, +5 attack power, + 100 armour, +5% attack speed

Rank 2: +7% HP, + 7%MP, +7 attack power, + 200 armour, +7% attack speed

Rank 3: +10% HP, + 5%MP, +10 attack power, + 300 armour, +10% attack speed

 

Explanation:

 

The idea is to use minion and or Power of Time to destroy the towers to make a way to the citadel. When attacked running away will be hard, so use skills like Iron Scales and Poisonous fangs. With enough HP and armour you can get away. In 1v1 this Demigod is overpowered, when this Demigod gets double teamed, escaping will be hard. Of course statue can be used to safe yourself. But you will be out of play for 1 minute

I don't want to be too harsh or anything but this DG is too overpowered. If you control creeps (up to Ginat + Minions for 20 seconds) and use power of time + your own minions and snakes nothing can last infront of you more than 3 seconds (Excecpt Citadel which will last 15 seconds). Posonous fangs are stright out of UB.

You can maybe control creeps for a maximum of 10 seconds (Starting with 5 seconds at rank 1 and rank 5 Damages the creeps once they turn on you)

Nerf the Power of Time a bit. and add an AOE skill instead of Poisnous Fangs.

 

Leech Snakes are a nice concept though.
