All regulus team not powerful

I just played 4v4 against all regulus team and won.

The idea of an all regulus team with snipe that can kill anyone instantly may sound good on paper but doens't really work.   The regulus team had more kills and was snipe killing alot.  But they still dies or loses flag control because regulus isn't a good flag cap person.  We got to giants first and won.  Maybe if it was slaughter mode, the regulus team has more of a chance to win.

What are other people experience with all regulus team?

950 instant damage at level 4 per regulus every 45 seconds and 700 per regulus every 15 seconds after that. It's not about being good on paper, it's about having 3 people who can do the same thing at the same time without jumping the gun.

dual snipe + oak is pretty fun

Snipe thing could work if they used voip to coordinate the shots.

Beating a few regulus's in one game doesn't prove they aren't powerful together.  Maybe some/all weren't that good.  Maybe it wasn't the right map/game mode for it.  Maybe they didn't have the favor items they needed yet.

I see snipe as a finisher not a main point in a build.

true, but I think the idea is one guy engages another demigod and pulls their health down a bit.  Not a lot; probably half to 3/4 would suffice.  Then he gives the signal for a mass snipe.  Bam, dead.

If the all-team Regulous had VOIP, and called out who to snipe, then it would have worked.

sure, the guy who gets the last shot in gets a lions share of the gold, but those who aid get 1/2 the gold.

W/o VOIP, the all-reg team fails xcore.

Well, I know 2v2 an all regulus team is possibly one of the easiest to face.

I would think that 3v3 most teams taking the right favor items could easily survive the snipes making the team useless once again.

4v4 is the only place I can see them getting past the starting health effectively, and even then its unsure whether these kills would build up to something meaningful, like preventing the enemy team from horrendously flag capping the whole map.

Given that most teams are 2v2 or 3v3 at the moment I'm not too worried.
