An apology

Ok, so this is just a short post im making to anyone who has ever played a demigod game online with me. I would first just like to say how sorry i am for joining your game because chances are i have left in the beginning to middle of the game due to my computer crashing. Its pretty insane because although i have a pretty shitty computer, i have run games with more system requirements than demigod and ran them fine. I honestly don't think i have played a full game online, which is kind of strange because i have never crashed while playing bots, and i only play on small maps so i average around a 6 sim speed. I think im goin to stick to bots for awhile now until i buy a new computer, hopefully this summer (i don't have the money right now) because personally i hate it when people leave during the middle of games. leavers are the one of the only things i don't like about games such as dota and demigod, and to be one of them depresses me. So i wrote this just to say i was sorry, because i know how angry i get when people leave and how i would appreciate an explanation most of the time. I feel as if demigod is a great game and i want to be able to play it online, so if anyone has any ideas or applications such as a core maximizer for demigod to help me run the game it would be greatly appreciated.

We need more honest, sincere, and generally good natured people like you around here. I hope you get it worked out, as you sound like what the entire online community should be like (and, yes, I'm guilty of being an ass online sometimes too).

Just upgrade.  HW is so cheap nowadays.  Sell your xbox.  You'll get more use out of a moderately-usable pc.

You know thanks to you i have learned to stop being mad at trolls and start laughing with them, the world is better if you dont get worked up about every single thing.

And By the way despite my post, you still a troll, but at least a funny one at that XD

And for the OP, dont worry man, im sure you feel for your reputation but thats BS, must people that you ahve left mid game witha  bot will just not read this so just chill get your new pc and forget about it. Also contact [email protected] if you send them the log they might see the root of the problem and fix it.

Well hang on a minute, if you don't crash with bots, say 9 of them, and you can play full games with them, your crashing online is more likely than not nothing to do with your PC.

I'm not sure if any internet, ISP or related hardware (Router, Modems etc) can play any part in you crashing out of the game, but I'd suggest at least that you try to delete/uninstall the game and redownload/reinstall it, it sounds more of a bug than your hardware, even though that conclusion could be drawn due to you having a lowend system.

I'm just saying that it makes no sense that you could comfortably (even if it is at low settings) play out full games, even when it gets intense on the PC when there's 10 Demigod's, and a slew of fully upgraded creeps and towers with all their related animations popping off, then crash out within 10mins of an online 1v1.

Look into it at least, rather than putting it down to your computer, Demigod is not that intensive graphics wise, so you could also try turning all your settings to the lowest, and putting on a really low resolution then trying to play online, that'd prolly tell you.

thank you for your suggestions but its not the game that crashes, its my whole computer. the whole thing restarts. i know i don't really understand it either so it could be an online issue or something. (i have the game on the lowest possible settings)
