Hi, just started playing, is there any way to pick up the potions that demigods drop on death and not use them, ie pick them up and put them into a consumables slot so you can use it later on when you need it?

Not that I know of. The potions and scrolls are pretty much instant effect pick ups. I can imagine it's this way by choice of design so that Demigods cannot horde potions and become that much harder to stop. Combat health/mana potions would become less cost effective. Besides, the usual need to "save them for later" leaves the potions and scrolls open for anyone to take. Your own "death potion" could save your own hide later on.
