What Was Hot - WindowBlinds in '06

Every once and a while we like to take a trip back into time, and dig deep into the WinCustomize galleries and see what skins were hot.  Many are skins that people still use to this day, and it’s always interesting to see the styles and designs that people were going for just a few years back.

Lets go back through the WindowBlinds gallery to 2006, and see what was going on then.

Even with that being the case tiomio, GT3 and Mako were two of the Hot WindowBlinds in '06 whn it came to downloads. 

They both are very popular and are still being downloaded today. :sun:

Thallos! One of my all time favorites........shame he's gone over to the Dark Side ;)

Eminence was/is the best "my first wba skin" ever.

Looks like '06 was a pretty good year :)

I remember Eminence. I kept that on my desktop for quite some time. Damn good one that.

I still think the skins that came out back in the WindowBlinds 5 days were much better than most of the skins being released now. Too bad they're all XP skins so I can't continue to use them on Vista without parts of it looking quirky. It's a shame that most of the skins that get released nowadays that are of the same quality are master skins.

I remember Eminence.   That skin won 1st place in the 9th Challenge at Skinning.net.

I still use ChaNinja Style from time to time. His first uxtheme release was what first got me started with themes in XP. I don't even remember how long ago that was. I still use some of his icons, and his cursor set.
