Why does the player have no control?

Console -> Gone.
UI mods -> Gone.
Cheats -> Gone.
Observers -> Gone.

We can't choose to be matched up against good players, or compete in any way. At all.
We can't even choose to play against players, if you play Pantheon more than half the ******* players are AI.

For what? Why has the player suddenly no control over their own damn game? We're not even talking about, please write in this functionality. Please just uncomment the damn code.

Replays?

There's making the engine accessible, and there's having no console, no mods, no options, and no goddamn replays.

Clan support and the like is scheduled to be added soon, possibly over the summer. That should allow you to play with experienced players, although you could try custom games as well.

As for cheats, Demigod is a game focused on multiplayer, so cheats don't really have a place here. If you're talking about cheats in single player, I don't think they are necessary to dominate the AI.

I don't care about clan support. I was in a clan in SupCom, it was a good one but it never really happened for me. I care about modding, I care about replays, and cheats to muck around with, and I care about playing with other people who are remotely near my skill level.

You can't honestly tell me that you don't appreciate a good nub stomping now and again.

It's a complete waste of time. I want to fight TheBigOne and get better at the game, not waste my time against AI. I want to watch my own replays and learn from them. I want to code my own UI improvements, muck around with cheats, and watch games. This is all pre-existing functionality.. removed.
