mid play black screen and and screen loses signal

hi.

anyone else having this problem...? I'm running on windows 7 RC (64), radeon 4500 and latest drivers

just happened to me second time in a row in the middle of the pantheon game, screen goes black and starts to search for signal...can't do nothing but reboot

Sounds like a driver failure, which isn't too surprising given prerelease drivers on a prerlease OS... Vista's drivers were downright horrible even after release.

It does indeed sound like a driver failure.
Do you have any driver versions different to the one you're currently using to test?
Do you receive this kind of malfunction during any other game or program?
Does it occur at the same time in every game?

Are you getting an error or are you seeing the same signal loss issue?  Can you post your video card section from your DxDiag info?
