Why Can't I Find My Friend's Game?

My buddy and I tried to coordinate a game over the phone. Neither he or I could connect or see, eachother's games on the list. On top of that, we both saw a totally different set of games on eachother's list of available games. It was like we were on two different servers.

Anyone have suggestions on how my friend and I can join eachothers games? Thanks

Maybe you or your friend is on the beta. You'd see two completly different sets of games.

^  Ditto.  You probably have different versions of the game.  Take a look here for how to check/update:

Phantom I read your response to a similar post a few minutes ago and you are correct.

My friend hadn't checked impulse for the newest update that came out a few days ago.

Thanks!

By the way people need to update their games! There are more people playing older versions than the newest. So those of us who are playing the newer only have a few hosts going.

I agree, but some of the problem is that some people are playing the beta release of the game, while others are content with what's been "officially" released.  Hopefully, Stardock will release this latest patch to the public on Monday and bring the community back together.
